Sillas Duarte Jr, DDS, MS, PhD, is associate professor for the Department of Comprehensive Care at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and maintains an intra- mural practice limited to esthetic dentistry. He also has served as visiting professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a research focus on bonding to dental structures, composites, and ceramics. Dr Duarte has served on the editorial boards of several journals and has published many journal articles and book chapters. He has performed hands-on courses and lectured nationally and internationally on esthetic dentistry and adhesion.
